What made you want to DJ?
I have been into music from an early age. Most of my family members are music related in one way or another. Always had an interest from listening to my elder cousins and brother playing their music. My brother eventually gave me his realistic mixer and old telephone headphone ? By the age of 13 I was djing at youth club discos and school events. My first proper event I played in front of 3000 + people at a free rave, the memory of that will live with me forever.
What was the first track you bought specifically to DJ with?
I use to dj oldskool Hip Hop so I would say many tracks from Krs One, King Bee, Ultramagnetic Mcs, Rob Base etc. By the time off the Acid House/Rave/Breaks era it was more Shut up and Dance, We R E, The Bee etc
Everybody wants to be a DJ these days. What ignites your passion to continue, despite the competitiveness within club culture?
Nowadays promoters are putting on gigs by allowing anyone to play or pay for tickets sales which has made things tight for a lot of talent who can rock a crowd. I say never give up and have believe.
If you could go back in time and be involved in the club scene of any era, when would this be and why?
