What made you want to DJ?
From as early as I can remember I was always the one that liked to be in control of the music that was playing in our house. That evolved to when I was with my mates. I had a taste for everything soulful at that stage in my life. I was blown away by the power of house music, at my first proper clubbing experience (A club in Huddersfield in 89). The DJ seemed so cool, blending from one tune to another,I was awe struck. From that moment I knew DJing was something I wanted to do. I remember thinking ‘I wish I could do that’. Within a few months I’d saved enough cash to buy my first set of 1210’s
What was the first track you bought specifically to DJ with?
D Livin ‘Why’
Everybody wants to be a DJ these days. What ignites your passion to continue, despite the competitiveness within club culture?
Sounds cheesy, but it’s all about the love of the music. If people like what I do, that makes me very happy 🙂
If you could go back in time and be involved in the club scene of any era, when would this be and why?
I’d of loved to of been involved in the 70’s disco scene. Imagine rubbing shoulders with Diana Ross on the dancefloor in Studio 54 :o)
This was the era that laid down the foundations for a lot of the various 4/4 dance music genres. A lot of this music still sounds great today.
I wonder if we will be saying that about todays music in 40 – 50 years time ?
Who would be your dream guest on your show?

Eric Kupper ‘Organism’‚ one of my favourite tunes and I’d would love to have the keyboard skills to be able to play this
