After meeting back in 2005 playing in bars and clubs in their area, Paul-E & CK (aka TOOBAD) became very good friends and soon realised that they had lots in common musically, they’re both equally passionate about Garage, House and Bass music. In 2011 they decided to join forces and become Too Bad DJs and right from the off their idea was to push new music as much as they could and in doing so they have worked with and supported some of the finest Producers, DJs and MCs the Garage scene has to offer.

Marvel grew up around music where his Dad and Brother were both in sounds. He started messing around with music in early 1994 when he got his first set of Decks. With a couple of guys from school he set up a ‘sound’ called Thunderforce and they played Swing, Soul, Ragga and Jungle. He played at loads of house parties and venues – alongside the Heartless Crew on many occasions.

Teaming up with Eli they he released his first track “Pump”, which got signed to an underground record label. In 2001 Marvel & Eli were lucky to work with Colour Girl to make a track called “Mas Que Nada”, which entered the National Top 40 music chart. They also released a mixed CD called “Garage Anthems Summer 2K”. Then they collaborated with JJ Lewis who owns Southside Records to make the “Storm on the Southside” CD. Marvel and Eli then started the “Marvelis” Recordings record label which has had 12 releases to date and Shut IT records which Marvel is currently running.
